Calibration & Repair

Trek manufactures all of its products to exacting specifications. So when our customers need calibration services or assistance with repairs, we recommend they contact Trek for professional help to assure their Trek instruments continue to perform as designed and expected. Trek’s calibration services utilize measurement equipment traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The Trek calibration system conforms to the requirements of ISO 10012-1-1992 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994. By using Trek’s technical experts for calibration and repairs, our customers can be confident that their Trek electrostatic voltmeters, high-voltage power amplifiers or electrostatic discharge (ESD) instruments will perform to specification.

Whether the instrument is still under warranty or not, you can rest assured that we will handle your need for calibration and/or repair services effectively and efficiently. Please contact Trek customer service for return information and related authorization (RMA).

Service Contract Option

For those wanting additional coverage and confidence, beyond the product’s warranty, Trek now offers a Service Contract option to customers in North America. Service Contracts can be obtained for Trek products at the time of purchase or on existing Trek units that are up to four years old. Under the terms of the Service Contract, customers obtain the same professional assistance noted above but also:

  • Free repair
  • Free field service updates
  • Free loaner instrument (available for most products during the service period)
  • Annual calibration (with before/after data)

Trek Service Contract covers all key components including power supplies, PC boards, probes, displays and software.
