This new ±20 kV four-quadrant DC-stable amplifier provides high speed of response with slew rate greater than 800 V/µs, output current to ±60 mA peak AC, and large signal bandwidth of DC to greater than 5.2 kHz (1% distortion).

Model PZD700A Addresses Need for High Speed and Precise Control for Piezoelectric, Electro-optic, MEMS & Semiconductor Applications

15 June 2011 (Medina, NY) – Trek Model PZD700A provides a large signal bandwidth greater than 125 kHz (-3dB) and a small signal bandwidth greater than 200 kHz (-3dB). This bandwidth capability is especially important in new piezo and piezo-stack applications, which require the high current levels as provided by this new amplifier from Trek.

Trek also offers a PZD700A M/S design which delivers twice the current capability (double the power) of the standard PZD700A models.

Trek’s 2200 Series offers a desirable combination of high performance and attractive pricing. The three initial models of the 2200 Series – Model 2205, 2210 and 2220 – provide output voltage ranges of ±500 V, ±1 kV, ±2 kV (respectively). The 40 Watt reference equates to 40 watts peak, 20 watts RMS.

Trek Product Launched with Satellite into Orbit

8 June 2012 (Medina, NY, USA) – TREK, INC., a designer and manufacturer of high-voltage amplifiers and electrostatic voltmeters, has one of its products onboard a satellite recently launched in Japan.

TREK JAPAN KK, an affiliate of TREK, INC., has been working with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT) to find ways to protect orbiting satellites from damage.

A major contributor to satellite damage is electrostatic discharge (ESD), which many of us experience when touching a light switch after shuffling our feet across a synthetic carpet. This kind of discharge occurs between conducting (metal) and non-conducting (non-metal) materials on a satellite.

Trek Investment Supports Future Growth

(Medina, NY) - Trek has established a new Trek Technology Center in nearby Lockport, NY. Trek’s R&D and Engineering groups now occupy two floors of the recently renovated Canal Street Building in downtown Lockport.
