Recent Awards

Trek Recognized for Engineering Excellence

Trek was selected to receive the 2015 Partner in Engineering Excellence award from SUNY Buffalo’s Center for Industrial Effectiveness (UB TCIE) during the Small Business Awards luncheon held in Buffalo, NY on May 13, 2015. This annual award event – part of a day-long program to celebrate Small Business Week – is intended to celebrate successful business partnerships in the community. Trek’s John Funseth and Tim Rushlow accepted the award from Gary Simon (UB TCIE).

 

Past Achievements

Trek Awarded “Employer of the Year”

TREK, INC. was the recipient of the Niagara County Workforce Development Group’s Employer of the Year award for 2014 during the Niagara USA Chamber’s Niagara Small Business Day event held on May 29, 2014 in Lewiston, NY. Mike Dehn, President of TREK, INC. accepted the award on behalf of the company.

IBC Rochester Honors Trek with Exporting Award

Trek was selected to receive the “Excellence in Exporting” award at the International Business Council of Greater Rochester’s 20th Annual International Trade Banquet and Exposition on September 15, 2011. Mike Dehn, President of TREK, INC. accepted the award on behalf of the company.

 
Institute of Electrostatics of Japan Honors Trek

Trek received the Award of Progression from the IEJ (November 2012) in recognition of the company’s development of the Electrostatic Force Microscope which has the capability to measure electrostatic surface voltage with spatial resolution (10 µm) not attainable with traditional technologies. Mr. Higashio of Trek Japan KK accepted the award from Dr. Akira Mizuno, President of the IEJ.

Trek President Honored by Business Community

Mike Dehn, President of TREK, INC., was chosen to be a member of Business First of Buffalo's 2009 "40 Under 40" class. This award recognizes individuals under age 40 in the Buffalo, NY region who have records of professional success and community involvement. Mike received his award at a luncheon in downtown Buffalo in November 2009.

Loise Caldwalader

Louise Cadwalader, Vice President and Treasurer of TREK INC., was chosen to receive the 2005 Women Who Mean Business Award sponsored by 'Business First of Buffalo'. This award honors the most dynamic Western New York women who demonstrate the highest level of business acumen while maintaining a strong commitment to the community.

Chairman's Special Award

Yoshio UeharaToshio Uehara, current Trek Japan KK President and Director, also CEO and Chairman of the Board of TREK, INC, was chosen to receive the Chairman's Special Award by the 'Imaging Society of Japan' at their 2005 awards ceremony. This award was given in recognition of Mr. Uehara's extensive contribution to the Japanese electrophotography industry.

Niagara USA Chamber Selects Trek

Trek received the Industry Insider Award from the Niagara USA Chamber at its 2015 Chamber Honors event. This particular award is “given to a business within a specific industry that exemplifies the highest standard of excellence within that industry. The award acknowledges a company that has accomplished a milestone, whether it be expansion, job creation, longevity, or achievement that propels it to the forefront of its specific industry.”  Louise Cadwalader, VP and Treasurer of TREK, INC. accepted the award on behalf of the company.

United Way Honors Trek

Trek received the Horizon Award from the United Way of Greater Niagara in recognition of the company’s valuable contributions to the 2013 United Way campaign and to honor Trek’s commitment to make Niagara County a better place.

Electrostatics Society of America Honors Trek

The Electrostatics Society of America honored TREK, INC at the 2010 Annual Meeting of the ESA held at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in June. The President’s Appreciation Award (photo) was given to Trek in recognition of the company’s excellent support.

Trek Recognized by SUNYAB

The Trek Research and Development Center was recognized by the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB) at the recent "Scholars, Inventors and Entrepreneurs" reception held in May 2007. Louise Cadwalader and Jerzy Kieres received a plaque recognizing Trek's participation in SUNYAB's Baird Research Center.

Trek Receives EuroAsia IC Industry Award
Trek's Model 800 Infinitron® was nominated for and won a 2007 EuroAsia IC Industry Award. It was one of four products to be 'short listed' for the Yield Management - Best Process Award. Award winners were determined by online voting, which ended July 2, 2007. Trek and several other winning companies were announced at a special event held July 18th during SEMICON West 2007 in San Francisco. To complete Press Release Page...
